The city has long been a magnet for foreign investment, and wealthy individuals have been a major driver of the real estate market's growth. During the last 20 years, home prices in Dubai have gone through three property cycles. Our first property cycle price growth lasted approximately 6 years, reaching a peak in 2008, and our second property cycle price growth lasted 4 years where the last peak was identified during 2014.
We are currently in our 3rd property cycle where Dubai’s residential market witnessed a spectacular price recovery since the pandemic. HNWIs have played a significant role in this cycle, as they have been willing to invest large sums of money in the city's real estate market, driving up demand and prices.
